In September 2024, the ERA Chair Team participated in the European Researchers’ Night held at IBMC/i3S. The team set up a stall entitled “Guardians of the Brain” and organized several interactive and educational activities that included memory games and looking at “fluorescent” astrocytes and neurons in brain slices under the microscope.
It was a fun night with many visitors stopping by our stall curious about the brain and our favorite cells, the astrocytes.
